Worse yet, I am sure GE bought Unison (Slick) for its jet engine igniter technology and not to make the piston engine ignition technology better. Heck, 250 hours ain't bad for mags that should be "checked" every 500 hours. Mags and Plugs, Unison's consumables, keeps their cash flow up. Have you considered an altitude proof (Hah!) electronic ignition, one with no points, no arcing, no pressurization consequences, no moisture issues, etc? Huh? Huh? Spark advance is optional.
