I implied that if the airplane were flown in a condition where the stall speed that exceeded the design maneuvering speed the wing spars would fail. As has been pointed out, this is not the case. I should have said: "If you fly an airplane in a condition where the stall speed is greater than its maneuvering speed Va you will likely be exceeding the allowable loading."
