 I do not doubt you when you have experienced ATC slang when communicating
with LAX ATC .   I have flown into LAX for the past 30 years during the at
time I have never experienced slang used to that extreme.  I have experienced
controller going out of there way to slow communications with foreign carriers
that my be having a language problem.  Perhaps you English is so accomplished
the controller took a liberty that was not justified. I can also report that
when I fly to CDG that I never experience ATC slang. But then how would I
know,  they were speaking French.  Hmmm I guess it was ICAO standard French.
