So if the 2500 rpm rule doesn't rule it out, Are there other operational recommendations to avoid this?

 I think it is a compressor/ turbine stall also... it happens to me at 2600 RPM at 50-100 deg LOP. More likely to happen above 16K' but happened today at 6K'
