Come on guys...all I asked was at what weight have people certified their LIVP and LIVPT.  I'm looking for a pound number and an N number.  I've only gotten three responses to my very narrowed question.

Monitoring the LML exchanges, we should all agree that any time we add one pound, we narrow the margin just a wee bit.  More pounds ... more difficulties with many stated flight characteristics.  Isn't everything subject to risk analysis.

What weight we have on our paperwork has no real connection to what we put in the plane.  We can overload the plane, and no one will know except the NTSB afterwards.  But we can be under weight, and still crash.

In fact, on this note, how many Lancairs have crashed because of weights in excess of Lancair's recommendations (particularly the IVP or IVPT) (whether above or below their air worthiness' certified weight)...I know of none, but maybe some one else does.  And if there's not many, how has this irresponsible behavior caused our insurance premiums to increase in any causitive way?

So, how about some specific weights and referenceable N numbers in case the DAR has a question.  I promise not to misuse the information, or overload my airplane.
