Lancair sells brass blocks that are about 1.5" square with a pipe threaded hole in the middle.  I got one in my pitot static system.  I called Vern and he sent me another so I could have static ports on both sides.  You remove the inner skin, de-core and flox them in.  Then thread in the Poly Flo fitting.  They were very easy to install.
