Curious if a 550 will run smoothly there. Yes, reduce MP and RPM until that FF gives you about 15dF LOP and you will have set the BSFC(min) setting for max efficiency at that FF. It will run smooth there if the mixture is at that point LOP and you have balanced F:A ratios. Walter
