I bought the VOR = antenna's from Lancair. They are small strips of aluminum riveted = together that are supposed to use the carbon fiber skin as a ground = plane. One side of the assembly is supposed to be attached to the inside = of the carbon fiber skin on the wing, the rest of the antenna sits = inside the fiberglass tip. I am trying to determine how the antenna is = supposed to be attached to the wing skin and the wing tip. If = you are planning a cross-country plane, I was convinced to get the = "whisker" antenna for the tail.
