My lower cowl is only held to the fuselage by either 12 or 14 camlocs, naca to oil cooler connector tube, silicon baffle material at the bottom of the cooling air intakes and the induction intake to throttle body tube. I have put safety wire thru a few camloc receptacles and then to the drilled head aluminum baffle hold down screws that go into the cylinder head. Say so long to vibration!
