I was curious if anyone has tried extending the tip 6inches or so on either side to accomodate fwd facing tip lights. My thinking for this is simple to avoid cutting the leading edge apart, and avoiding leaks in the wing itself. Not sure what effect it would have on the flight characteristics, but since the factory sold/sells the wing extensions, I figured it would be minimal.
