That is exactly how my airplane handles. I accept this for
now until I can look into the pitch trim servo travel limits. I limit the
approaches to half flaps and 90 - 100 mph.
Unless the 235 flaps are changed and thus hinged from the bottom, they are
significantly different in range than the 320/360 flaps.
1. They reflex up from neutral (faired in) approx. 9 degrees.
2. Unless significant mods are done, the maximum down flap is about
23 degrees on the ground and about 19 degrees in flight (from neutral).
So, one-half flaps in a 235 airframe is about 9 - 10 degrees
which would be somewhat less than the 320/360 airframe.
