I note that the
Construction Manual does not call for a 2 BID layup to be applied along
the rear spar bonding the top and bottom skins to the spar. I am certain,
however, that I saw builders at Lancair stuffing a carbon fiber layup in the
spaces between the flap brackets along the length of the rear spar. I would
appreciate any guidance from anyone. Thanks.
