Mark,

That's what I'm going to do when I get to it. Aim one light for taxi (left side) and one for landing. I may be able to mount the two lights to my left strut. My nose is so high during the flare that I don't really have a view of the runway at all -- just off to the left side. I've done a couple of night landings without mishap. The runway lights give me adequate visual info. However, taxi in the dark is a new thrill.

Matt,
In the flare, landing lights many times shine off into space.
Some STC'd planes I know of have two landing lights.  One shines ahead and the other is aimed to help more in the flare.
Maybe you could add on another lamp on the left gear leg aimed low.
