 I completely agree with Don.  Incidentally, until the Legacy gets under about
35 kts. on rollout, there is enough lift that, even on an asphalt runway, it
is easy to lock the tires.  I flat-spotted one finding this out.  On grass it
would be easier to lock the tires, even if it would probably not be as hard on
them.  The Legacy is out and away the best airplane I can come close to
affording to fly but a back-country bird it's not.

[ I have a dig on my prop from parking the legacy on grass. one
could pump up the front strut more I guess, but I don't know
of many grass strips that have my required 3k length so
why risk it? -Rob ]
