I noticed that my flap actuator seems to coast for awhile after power is
removed, enough to allow the end of the shaft to continue for an additional
3/16-1/4" of extension or retraction. I would assume that this would
probably equate to 4-5 degrees or so of additional flap motion after the
switch is released. We tried putting a bit of load on the actuator to see
if that would lessen the effect but it didn't seem to. Is this normal??
Naturally I'm concerned about the effect this will have on coming up with
an accurate flap position setting. Has anyone else noticed this effect?
