Airllink, and now Fibertech Composites, have built 70 to 80 (maybe more by now) GlaStars and related aircraft.  They have also re-built some fuselages that had been improperly joined.  The studies that I saw are now some 4 to 6 years old but they still might have records.  Check with Zach at http://www.fibertechcomposites.com/ and with Wolf at http://www.airlinktech.com/main.php.  Studies at Airlink support your process.  Bonding strength is often 2x
stronger without the acetone wipe.
