An internal leak is the result of hydraulic fluid leaking around the cylinder piston resulting in a reduction of system pressure and the cycling of the pump. On the big metal this is detected by heat build up on the bad cylinder, but for our craft, isolating each cylinder one at a time until the problem goes away is the only way that seems to work. There is no external signs of internal leaks. If it's not a cylinder problem, isolate the dump valve. If not the dump valve then the last component left is an internal leak in the hydraulic pump itself. When you isolate the problem we would appreciate a service difficulty report (SDR). Thanks.
