While considering taking on a IVP kit (and waiting for BRS!), I'm playing with the Aircraft Spruce composite practice kit. It's a good way for someone with zero experience with fiberglass layup to get some exposure. I built my first few layups this last weekend, and it's been quite interesting. On the topic of BRS, I'm holding out on purchasing a kit until this option is available. Lancair says it may happen "someday", and BRS is mum. If anyone has any info, please do email me privately. Meanwhile, I may end up building a two seat sport plane for practice - with BRS, of course. -- Dane Jasper Sonic.net, Inc. (707)522-1000 http://www.sonic.net/ mailto:dane@sonic.net callto://danejasper
