Bob Jude has problems with intermittanf Hyd. pump cycling. Boy, have I had
this one!!!! The first thing to change, whether you think it is the problem
or not, is the damm dump valve (ddv). The ddv is very cheap,(that is why
it fails) and can be changed in about 30 min. I know because I have done
it 3 times.If that doesn't solve your problem (90 % of the time it will ) ,
then remove your seats and get a fitting that will seal each main wheel
cylinder on the inside of the seat bulkhead, each gear door cylinder on the
up-side, and then the nose wheel on the up-side ( I forget exactly where I
did that one). Essentially you are isolatting each cylindar, one at a time
while you do a retract test. When you find one that stops the cycling, you
have a beer and replace the seals in the cylinder. But you never got this
far because the DDV was the problem. Sincerely, Fred 9BF ( don't fly like
my brother)
