You just have to slow down...a lot. With about 30% power you'll burn about 5.6gph and go 199mph. With 60gallons capacity that's 2132sm. But your butt will be in the seat for nearly 11 hours. The real question you have to anser for yourself is "how long do you want the non-stop 2000 mile trip to take"? Recall that the Voyager cut back on power enormously and ended it's trip at about 55mph. Cruise efficiency and speed are at the opposite ends of the performance spectrum.
