If you look in the manual, page 5-13 (rev 0/ 11-1-91) it shows the complete GM3 o/c link assembly. Over on the right hand side of the page is a little note that says it is ok to use up to 3 AN960-619 washers to space the inboard end of the GM3 assembly away from the mounting point on the GM4. This is my first thought... if you have washers in there, take them out. That will swing that GM13 assembly back forward and help align everything with the cylinder. The idea here is that the washers should be used to get everything parallel. They are optional and should be used only if required. Also be sure that you've got the GM3 assembly installed correctly, with the inboard end bearing shoulder facing aft. If you've got that turned around that will also cause some misalignment. A good test would be to verify that the GM4 (forward attach bracket) is parallel to the spar... if not it could be that your GM13 (phenolic hardpoint where inboard GM3 attaches) is mislocated, although I would be very surprised if that were the case. One last thing... my spacer block to attach the inboard end of the main gear is actually 1.5" thick, not 1.25", and everything is nice and parallel in my installation.
