My Lancair IVP with a nonstandard engine-prop combination is nearly
done.  The DAR has stated that I will be restricted from all Class B and
all Class A airspace during the initial 40 hour fly off.  This obviously
means nothing FL180 and above.  Is this true for everyone of the LIVPs
(whether 25hr or 40hr)?  What do the LIVPT (Turbines) do...if they can't
go above FL180 during test flights?

If someone knows that this is DAR malarchy, I'd appreciate a
chapter-and-verse reference to show the fellow.
