One item that seems to be missed in the Halon
discussion is its distinct benefit around our expensive electronics. Assuming
that we are able to extinguish the fire and land safely, Halon will have had no
bad effects on the panel stuff. Dry chemical is likely to create a mess that is
impossible to clean up.
