Mark and Sue,
I am flying a 360 MKII with adjustable pedals and brakes on both sides. While not absolutly necessary they are very very nice. I fly with them almost full aft. 5'10" with a 32" inseam. When I fly with my instructor they are about 1/2 way foward. I have also had some that had to have them full foward. Pillows and seat cushions would have bee a pain.
To make a long story short. If you are going to be the only one to ever fly the plane then you don't need them. But right now is the best time to put them in and the extra cost and hassle will pay for itself in the long run. Remember the plane will probably last longer than you, I have flow a lot of plane born before I was. You may want to upgrade to and ES or even a IVP. The adjustable rudder petals will help you get a good price.
