 My door seal has two parts. the inflatable part that goes on the door and
 the mating rubber gasket that goes on the frame. When looking at other
 planes at sun and fun. I did not notice the rubber gasket being used. Is
 everyone using this rubber gasket? Is it needed?

[ my guess is the gasket is the std door seal, to be replaced
with the optional extra $$ inflatable seal -Rob ]
