Like Gary, I also have not had that problem with my ACK ELT. My setup is similar to Dan's. I have an SL30, a GX65, Bob Archer antennas, and RG-400. My ACK ELT is from around 1999, and like Gary, I am using the antenna that came with the unit with a small ground plane in the tail cone. It's probably within 3 feet of the other antennas.
