I found a problem with a plugged filter in the return system and had to remove it during early gear testing. The filter was in the Lancair catalog. I had to remove the guts of the filter. I told Ross at Lancair about the problem and he recommended that any body that had one installed remove it. I believe that they published a service bulletin. During testing the gear cycle time got longer and longer until the gear froze about half way up and would not budge even with the hand pump.
