  Been flying my IV-Pt for about a year out of Reno, Nv. with no A/C.
With a climb rate of over 3000fpm you get to cool air quite quickly.
Don't think the extra weight is worth it.  Check out your expected empty
weight vs. gross.
 Install the internal rudder.
