I have flown over 100 different types of aircraft for over 30 years. I have never liked a throttle quadrant on a single engine aircraft.
On a twin, the quadrant helps because you can hold the similar controls together.
On a single, you can't move the levers with the same precision with a quadrant as you can with levers.

For those of you considering Throttle Quadrants remember that a FADEC system will only require one lever or knob - Levers take up more room than knobs.
