I had a real surprise after I had my IV-P seats upholsteried. With the 3 layers of temperfoam, plus the additional stuffing the upholstry guy needed, the pilots seat was too high. Had to remove 1 layer of foam. Dumb!!!!

You might consider adding pink foam for the topmost layer. That will allow you to settle in nicely even when it is cold. It makes good bolsters, too.
