For Dan O'Brian:

Dan:  I plagerized this idea from another L-IV owner (not builder).  His
headliner was stiched around the windows exactly like mine except his
headliner was velcro-ed in place.  I asked my upholsterer to do the same but
since I couldnt afford leather (just the seats),  he had to glue the
headliner in place to get the leatherette to fit properly.  He made a
pattern for each side of the overhead with cutouts for the windows.  When he
was satisfied with the fit of the pattern, he transferred it to the backing
material.  Then he gave the backing material a further fit.  Finally, he
glued the leatherette to the backing material, did the stiching, and glued
the works in place.  I was very pleased with the result.  (Especially with
the price).  Regards, Bill Hogarty
