Thanks, Dan.  Very informative.  I take it then, that no fabric sample or a portion of a composite layup is part of what you keep?
(My bad.  I made "coupons" by laying up a composite 2 or 3 BID, about 3" X 3", labeling, and dropping into a box.  But it's not too late to make up coupons for my major structural bonding tasks.)
