I think keeping coupons of each batch mixed for
structural bonding is a good idea for amateur builders. As mentioned in a
recent missive it is mandatory in the commercial aircraft world. It
becomes part of the repair station's records for that particular
non-routine. As far as stretching shelf lives of these products with
whatever witchcraft one may dream up... I won't buy into that. The
manufacturer specifies a shelf life and the storage conditions during
that period for its product. That is the law in the certified world
and there is no reason to think there is a better way, maybe cheaper though
probably not a good practise. I would be surprised should a manufacturer
choose to do a test on your out-of-date product.
