Manual legs (FM/VM) indicated by flight plan discontinuity. Customer Requested Feature Additions/Changes: 1 Change "Level Off" annunciation from 10% VSI rule to 30% VSI rule and enable for all VSIs. Intent is for "Level Off" annunciation to be a normal tool used by pilot to level off at pre-selected altitude rather than a reminder. 2 Implement 400NM maximum map range. 3 "White Triangle" symbol at maximum flap extension speed on airspeed scale. 4 User settable V1, V2, VR, and VREF speed indications on airspeed scale. 5 Ability to disable Pitch Limit Indicator (PLI). 6 Support for multiple flight plans between same departure and destination points. 7 Flight plan and user waypoint download and upload utilities in ground maintenance functions. 8 Enhanced, keyboard-less ground maintenance function main menu. 9 Ground maintenance function for viewing system limits. 10 Altitude capture predictor symbology and method for commanding the VNAV system to "descend now" that creates a bottom of descent ("B/D") waypoint as the VNAV target. 11 Software slip-skid indicator. 12 Expand fuel flow indication in "Set Fuel" menu, including split fuel flow indications for twin-engine airplanes. 13 Change "TABS" nomenclature to "MAINS" in "Set Fuel" menu. 14 Nearest ILS, Nearest FSS and Nearest ARTCC functions. 15 ILS Course Synchronization function as part of Nearest ILS function. 16 Remote COM and NAV tuning functions. Supports Honeywell KX-155A/165A radios. Will support Wulfsberg Fliteline with some software changes to the Fliteline product. 17 Enhanced flight planning functions using airways. 18 Mach depiction on MFD. 19 Ability to go direct to any waypoint, including waypoints within procedures. 20 New engine pages for experimental market. 21 Manual required navigation performance (RNP) selection. 22 Revise pitch steering algorithm to capture speed bug speed (if set) or pre-programmed climb speed. Other Changes: 1 Remove glideslope indication when system detects a back course condition. 2 Menu lockout feature to prevent "dueling menus" situation. 3 Continuous setting updates during menu utilization to keep screens synchronized. 4 Add ARINC429 barometric setting output to support Shadin RVSM ADC. 5 Change holding pattern leg count to 9 (5 for entry and 4 for pattern) to enhance guidance on parallel entries. 6 Eliminate invalidation of all air data when VSI exceeds range. 7 Add special depictions for obstructions causing obstruction alarms. 8 Eliminate heading bug warning. There are many instances where a pilot wants the heading bug enabled but is purposefully not flying on heading. 9 Eliminate invalidation of attitude data when accelerations are not detected. This allows graceful degradation to pure attitude sources when a sensor that includes accelerometers fails. In this condition, accelerations of 1g normal, 0g longitudinal and 0g lateral are assumed. 10 Eliminate VLOI indication from Faults menu as the term has no meaning at current GPS/WAAS certification level. 11 Support for GPS altitude including a smoothing algorithm and a WGS-84 ellipsoid to NAVD88 geoid altitude conversion. 12 Coloring of airspace depiction according to type of airspace. Release 4.1 1.Support for the new Analog Interface Unit (AIU). 2.Refined and tested autopilot control algorithms, including a revolutionary analog heading mode roll steering output. 3.Ability to display airspeed in MPH in addition to Knots. 4.Refined voice alerting including volume based upon threat level and immediate muting. 5.Refined and tested ARINC429 interfaces. 6.Support for Shadin Engine Trend Monitor (ETM). 7.Support for L3 Skywatch. 8.Revised waterline symbology. 9.Smoother background terrain decompression. 10.Ability to disable fuel totalizer functions. 11.Optimized OBS menu. 12.Full time bank scale option. 13.Refined speed trend and VSI worms. (solid) 14.Refined runway drawing. 15.Pitch ladder recovery chevrons. 16.ILS deviation and Flight Director symbology changed to match MIL-STD-1787C.
