I have enough trouble keeping charts and plates handy. Having to deal with wires and laptops ectra just does not cut it. The Lancair has a small cockpit so the extras for weather need to be small. With a Garmin in the panel the GDL 49 makes sense even at the high cost. How about it. Any takers Ray In a message dated 2/25/04 12:04:20 AM Central Standard Time, ronlaughlin@hotmail.com writes: > What I would like to see is a compact, all-in-one package like a handheld > gps that includes the receiver, computer, gps and display.
