Sounds like you are on the heavy side, - especially if your
rudder is all carbon.
I happen to have my rudder dismantled for a minor repair and
it weighs in at 4.8 kg or app..10.5 lbs complete with the
built in rudder trim.
I saved a lot of weight by making a mold and filling the
cavity completely where the old Lancair manual suggested you
put 4 lbs of lead.
As far as I remember I only used slightly more than the 4
lbs at that position all together, and I have just checked
it to be slightly overbalanced.
No signs of flutter up to a speed of 260 KTAS.
