I have installed the ATD 300 traffic watcher.

I have had the distance and altitude confirmed in radar managed terminal
airspace.  This unit is better than the 200 since the alarms are issued
when the target, uh bogey, uh interloper is closer - i.e. on the "near"
setting,  the verbal warning is issued when within 1 NM and + or - 500 feet.

At the current time, the antenna is mounted vertically on the baggage hatrack.  I  plan to move this to the belly or wing bottom.  I did build a hood for the  display because it is mounted high in the center console
and cannot overcome  direct bright sunlight.
