Several months ago I met Tjaart Van Rooy who has designed a solid state
dual microprocessor controlled starter limiter for the Walter Turbines. He
installed and tested the
limiter and it has performed perfectly. I can now see (graphical file
output)the six parameters of the engine start in minute detail. This
limiter is compact and light weight. Being solid state the life cycle
should be greater than my plane (or medical) and it takes all of the
guesswork out of a turbine start. If you are a turbine operator, or are
planning to install a Walter turbine, then you should definitely look at
