It is indeed fun, but only as long as you do not start to stretch your flights to land with just the 2.0 then 1.5 then 1.0 and finally just 0.5 gallons in the tank. One of the down sides of having such accurate equipment is that as we build confidence in it, we tend to start shaving off safety margins and that can come back to bite us. This is true not just for aviation, but in many personal and professional areas of our lives.
