I was applying full right rudder but the airplane left the runway making a left turn out of control. Back to idle, full brake and the line of planes belonging to a local flying school came nose to noSe with mine. Rudder cables are fine, no lock brakes, . Can you guys tell me how to trouble shoot the nose wheel and nose wheel strut. I thInk someone towed my plane and exceeded the left and right limits. I AM PRETTY SURE MY PROBLEM HAS TO DO WITH A FREE WILLY NOSE GEAR. What shoul I do? Noel N9070R [ there is a clamp on older IVs that holds the nose tire to the strut and keeps it from rotating on the self centering strut shaft.. remove one of the bolts holding the tire U and look 90^o and tighten / locktight the hex key.. the newer struts and legacys don't have this -Rob ]
