T'was top notch.  Everyone has much to learn and be "refreshed" on  with 
respect to our unique Lancairs - whether they be 320s, IV-Ps, Columbias or  
otherwise configured.  When was the last time you practiced an instrument 
  approach 
at night, with no hydraulics?  How about an engine out over  strange, almost 
sea level, territory (true x-cntry, 1000 mi from home)? Huh?  Huh? ....
When was the last time you thought about our special airplanes in adverse  
weather and the consequences?  This ain't no  Cessna/Piper/Beech/Mooney!  Pay 
attention, your insurance company  is! 
Besides all that serious stuff, it can be fun if you find the right folks  to 
fly close by or go to dinner in suspicious locations or just seek out  cheap, 
but dangerous, gas.  Also, is 8 hours from bottle to thottle  measured from 
the first toast or from the closer?
