Unless your flight instructor built and flies a Lancair I doubt you will find his knowledge on par with the gents instructing in this program. Flight instruction is like any other service related industry. The difference lies in the skill and knowledege of the individual offering the service. You get what you pay for.

At $600 this training is a bargain. The comparable Bonanza training costs over $1000. FlightSafety's course for Bonanza's costs is higher. You could probably find a young, newly minted instructor who would sign off your BFR for nothing more than a ride in your Lancair-- but would you really be learning anything? From the responses of the individuals who attended I believe the training was top notch.
