How tight of turn can the hinges take? Are they as good as alumnmum hinges or better in making the turn from the horizontal position going down the side of the cowl on the firewall? Was that clear as mud? I will be installing the cowl next week using carbon hinges. I just don't know if I should use the carbon hinges to mount the top cowl to the fire wall or use nutplates and screws. Thanks for any help you have to offer.
