If your name is not on this list, and you want a Legacy
quick drain fitting made for your aircraft (see the two oil change scenario
briefs below), I do not have you on the list for a discount.
Email me directly (not using the LML) and I will add you to
the list. The list is below the two comments following.

Bob,
Please
send me John’s email address.
I am
getting an email out to all tomorrow, and want to include him in the email.
Sure
glad I posted the message one more time on the list, got two more
builders. They’ll be happy they ordered this item when they change
oil the first time. Just getting the drain plug out is a nightmare
because of how difficult it is to get a wrench on the plug. Then, when it
comes time to safety wire it…..OH ME, its so difficult. Oil spill
clean up is a mess also. I finally designed a fiberglass chute just to
stop most of the spill, now I can throw it away! It didn’t stop all
the spill anyway, because it would not fit in place while I was taking the plug
out, and I always spilled quite a bit before I was able to get the chute in
place while the oil was cascading out of the drain hole. Then, with oily
dripping hands smarting from the hot oil, trying to catch a little oil for an
oil analysis was a real comical thing to watch……….should have
done a movie!

Ron

Nelson’s e-mail is jrn204@earthlink.net,
I know what you mean about the mess on oil changes I’m on the fourth
change now and none of them was any fun. I tried using a cardboard tube
cut at a 45 and it helped but still made a mess. Also tried an aeroquip
quick drain fitting and it was about 1/8 to long just barely hit the nose gear
push rod. I’m hoping with this new fitting I’ll be able to
change oil without taking off the bottom cowling. I’ve got 95 hrs
on the plane now and I love it. The A/C is really great in Southern CA. Wish you the best with your project hope to see it
so day.
Bob
