Most quick drains will not work on the TSIO 550E3's without contacting the nose gear and draining all the oil shortly after takeoff (not a good thing). Make sure you do a retract test after installation to be sure there is no problem. There is a low profile Piper part numbered quick drain that will work but is a little pricey.
