LNC2s (II-Ps) that are 235/320/360s have an aircraft plywood firew= all=20 with 1 BID on each side.  According to plans and FAA part 23 (?), the=20 forward face is further covered with 3 layers of Fiberfrax (ceramic fiber=20 blanket) and a hefty sheet of stainless steel.  Locally remov= ing=20 some of the plywood (not all) allows the bulkhead fitting to make the r= each=20 while retaining the fire-resistant qualities.  I forgot to mention that= the=20 exposed wood in the holes thru the plywood should be sealed (I used epoxy),=20= if=20 possible.=20
