Hi
Walt,
Yes, those driver tools are very nice. I have several that
came with some dental units in my office. I imagine they are much more
expensive than the standard allen wrenches that Bud Scott includes
with the Carbinge Keepers so he'll probably stick with that in the kits we
offer. On the other hand this is good advice for our customers and
everyone else too because there are other uses for the tool such as
removal of a radio box from the stack.
Thanks for the tip.

John,
With each ACK E-01 ELT you recieve an allen key
built like a screw driver, ie: no 90 degree bend and a plastic handle.
Similar hex keys are available at your local tool store. I cut down
the shaft and drilled a hole thru the handle in several I have and put one on
each set of keys for the airplane. The tool removes and
installs the set screw used in your CarbHinge Keepers easily
and is always near by.
