I don't know how thick the firewall is on the Legacy or L.IV, but
the LNC2 firewall is too thick for the standard AN bulkhead fittings.
What have you builders done to take your plumbing through the firewall?
Charlie,

I only used 2 layers of fiber-frax (adequate fire protection, I think) and all the bulkhead fittings are "countersunk" from the aft side of the firewall - that is I used a Dremel tool to dig out a shouldered area so the fitting would work.  The nut (not the pilot) is generally on the forward side.

It is interesting that, in light of the recent LML exchanges, you are still concerned with what builders are doing in in other Lancair aircraft.
