The last time I posted it was to challenge the miss information about our Superchargers performance as it compared to the Factory Legacy. I offered a challenge that was never accepted because they would have been embarrassed with the results. Aero Superchargers are the best way to get the maximum performance from your Legacy, IV or ES. A friend of mine was recently at Lancair for his customer build week. During his time there our Supercharger was discussed and guess what, they are bad mouthing us again. Since they lost on the performance side they now are using hot cylinders as a reason for not using our system. Again they do not know what they are talking about. The only cylinder heating problem that has ever been seen on our Legacy was because of a very poor design on the baffling. When we first tested the plane we saw uneven temps on cylinders 1,5,2 &6. This problem was noted on high power 350 HP and up on days of 100 Deg here in Vegas. I had some discussions with GAMI and research on our part we found the errors in baffling design on the Legacy. It seems they have also found some of the problems and have modified the kit from the original ones. When you don't make much power or fly in cool conditions then you may not see the problem. We have modified the baffling on my Legacy and reduced the cylinder temps by over 80 Deg. F at 400 plus HP. Our cylinders temps are within 6 Degrees from the hottest to the coldest with our modifications, I'll bet your Legacy cylinders are not that close. It seems that the Lancair folks are still putting out false information on our product and that is wrong. I named names last time and can do it again. I think that Tim and Joe need to clean their house before throwing stones. I have never said a bad word about my Legacy and would not. I think it is a great plane. Our Supercharger is a great product and does not deserve the bad mouthing it is getting from Lancair. Happy Holidays, Rick Schrameck Legacy #123 and Aero Superchargers #1
