<<If you are experiencing sloppy course tracking during turbulence (under
"perfect" GPSS guidance), consider cleaning the servo motor.>>

I was told at one time that it helps to run the motor full tilt against the
clutch for a few seconds every once in a while to "burn" off the
contamination on the commutator.  Can't remember where I heard that, but I
do it now and then and I think it helps.

crusade to fix the language" >>

Thank you for that, Scott.  I'm working on having the U.K. government
changing the word to Engineways - and electric cars won't be allowed.  Just
to verify my rightful position I notice that Webster gives as the #1
definition "a machine for converting thermal energy into mechanical energy"
and way, way down in #4 position is "any mechanical contrivance."  Ha.  Then
I looked in Mark's Handbook, my bible that has never been wrong in 40 years,
for verification.  In the index under "Motor" is "see also airplane
engines..."  Drats.  Now what am I going to do about Search Engines....it's
hopeless.  I would be better advised to go out and work on my airplane.
